Medtronic TEM2015G Parietex™ ProGrip™ self-gripping polyester mesh, 20 cm x 15 cm with polyactic acid grips, Box of 01

ProGrip™ self-gripping polyester mesh is intended for use in reinforcement of abdominal wall soft tissues where a weakness exists in procedure involving inguinal and incisional hernias repair.

The self-gripping properties of ProGrip™ mesh allow an almost complete or near-complete adhesion and fixation of the mesh, which encompasses nearly all of the surface area of the repair.

The mesh is almost immediately fixed along the entire repair surface area.

ProGrip™ self-gripping polyester mesh offers the ability to accommodate physicians in their surgical techniques and clinical cases by enabling extraperitoneal mesh placement, providing good quality of perioperative handling, and enabling compatibility with open and/or laparoscopic surgical approaches.

ProGrip™ self-gripping polyester mesh provides the capacity for the entire mesh surface to self-grip all the surrounding tissue, reducing the need for additional fixation.

Surgeons and patients can depend on a secure repair with the potential for minimal discomfort to the patient

All Parietex™ products are created from a macroporous polyester material which  favors better tissue integration and supports low foreign body reaction
