The Philips Spectranetics Bridge Prep Kit (Catalog #591-001) is a sterile, single-use surgical accessory kit designed to facilitate the rapid deployment of a Bridge Occlusion Balloon Catheter during cardiac lead extraction procedures

Compatibility

  • The recommended Bridge Prep Kit (sold separately and not available in all markets) includes a compatible 0.035 inch stiff guidewire, 12 French introducer sheath, syringe and stopcock for Bridge deployment

Bridge Occlusion balloon

  •  Lead extraction and management devices
    • The Bridge occlusion balloon catheter is indicated for use for temporary vessel occlusion of the superior vena cava in applications including perioperative occlusion and emergency control of hemorrhage
    • SVC tears during lead extraction are very rare, occurring in less than 0.5% of procedures. When they do occur, the Bridge occlusion  balloon maintains acceptable hemostasis for at least 30 minutes, giving you time to stabilize your patient and transition to surgery
