  • 518-024 Lead Cutter is a sterile, single-use surgical instrument designed to cleanly cut through the outer insulation and coils of cardiac pacing or defibrillator leads.
  • This 8-inch stainless steel tool is primarily used during transvenous lead extraction procedures to gain direct access to the lead's inner lumen. This step allows physicians to insert and secure a Philips Spectranetics Lead Locking Device (LLD). 
  • Lead Cutter is used to gain access to the inner lumen of a pacing/ defibrillator lead
    by cutting through the insulation and coils cleanly. The lead cutter is constructed with stainless steel.
